The Holy Scripture reveals that the price of sin is death and eternal separation from God. That price was paid on the cross of Calvary by the blood of Jesus Christ for all who believe and receive him as their Lord and Savior.

 I was called in to ministry on a Sunday morning in 2003 at Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, Woodbridge Va and was anointed by the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through Pastor Elijah Bird.

I was a 50-year-old alcoholic and was playing in Honky Tonks since I was 13 years old. I  was about drunk the morning I went to church with my wife. My intent was to satisfy her but God had other plans for this sinner of all sinners. At the alter call I felt the weight on my right shoulder and the spirit saying this is the turning point in your life. I went to the altar and my life was changed from that moment.

Smoking 5 packs of cigarettes a day and a Half Gallon of Jim Beam was removed from my system overnight. That’s how I know there is a God and I give him all the praise.

Labour for the Lord, Blu Braden Ministry was formed by the word and anointing of God almighty. Through faith and prayers this ministry has moved forward to serve our Lord and Savior.

Blu Braden Ministries is a non-profit organization and all love offering and donations are tax deductible. A tax receipt will be mailed at the end of the year to all who include their name and address.

Blu Braden works for Southern Electrical & Mechanical Inc. as Director of Southern Operations. Blu has been in construction since 1968 and in music since 1965.

 

I give God all the Glory for the change in my life. Most people say they started singing in church. I started at the Red Barn (a local Honky Tonk) in Camden, AL at the age of 13.

 

God has directed me to write a book on my life to glorify his name and power. I am a standing witness for the physical, mental, and spiritual healing done in God's time.

 

The book will begin in the next 6 months and will be called "Standing In The Gap From Rock-n-Roll to The Rock in Reverend".

 

I was twice on my death bed and survived as a Marine in Vietnam. I also survived 5 car wrecks and a broken neck in 1968.

 

After receiving Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior he gave me the patience that I never had to deal with my life and I had test run after being warned for 7 years that I had sleep apnea. I had the test run and I was told by Ms. Mavis Carter, the nurse who did the test, that it was the worst  she had every seen. Dr. Vories my doctor told me it was the worst he had every seen. When I left the hospital I gave Ms. Carter my ministry card and she told me she knew I was a man of God because my test showed that I had quit breathing 160 times in 9 hours. I stayed another night to have my face mask calibrated for the moisture machine that I have to sleep in every night. It’s a thorn in my side and I have prayed and he said unto me My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9

 

I give God all the GLORY and my ministry serves him daily. Please Pray for my ministry as I travel across country Glorifying our Almighty GOD and giving testimony of his Love for the lost.
